Fox’s latest addition to their excellent Union shoe range comes in the form of a range topping flat shoe with a BOA closure.
Sitting above the Canvas and standard flat pedal Union shoe, the new Fox Union BOA flat adds a double BOA Li2 closure to an already very good offering.

We were suitably impressed with Fox’s initial flat pedal shoe offering sporting the Union name and it followed the trend that started with the Union clip shoe that became Pete’s go-to shoe for all riding. The flat pedal range now gains another string in its bow with a Union BOA shoe.
This new shoe comes with everything we loved about the other Union shoes, the wipe-clean welded, one-piece upper, the Ultratac outsole and its hex shaped lugs. Plus they were just comfy enough without ever being sloppy when putting the power down on the trail.
The new range-topper does away with the laces of its brethren and adds two, yes two, BOA Li2 closures. This does, as with most BOA-equipped shoes, punt the price up a fair margin, to the tune of eighty quid for these particular shoes. If you do value comfort though, double BOA closures are usually the absolute dream when it comes to finding your perfect fit.
Size range is also extensive with UK sizes from 4 all the way up to 12.5 (37-47 EU) so you’ll need tiny trotters or some big old gravy boats to not find a set that fits. Half sizes are available from UK size 7 up to 12. The Union BOA flat comes in three colours; Black, Gray and Vintage White. The Union BOA Flat will also include two pairs of arch height inserts to customise fit.
