Southern Enduro will best testing ebikes at their races to ensure they haven’t been ‘chipped’, in order to comply with the law and their insurance.
Citing their race insurance and that landowners do not want ‘chipped’ ebikes on their land, Southern Enduro will be testing ebikes to ensure that they comply with both the race rules and the UK law on ebikes.
Anyone with a chipped bike can race, but it must be turned into its restricted mode in order to race. Anyone caught violating the rule will be banned.
