Seven downhill and enduro World Cups plus eight cross country World Cups make up the 2024 UCI World Cup schedule with six new venues in the mix.
Fort William kicks off the 2024 UCI Downhill World Cup, shortly followed by a trip to Poland for a double header with the EDR. Cross country get a back to back race in Brazil and heads to Lace Placid towards the end of the season.
Downhill loses a race compared to 2023 and only leaves Europe once, the season finale again being in Mont Saint Anne. Despite being Europe-heavy, notable by their absences are Lenzerheide, Andorra and Snowshoe. All six enduro races are in Europe.
It’s worth remembering that destinations have to bid for races. No bid = no race. It was rumoured that Lenzerheide was hanging up its boots and it seems that way.
