Sixteen years after he joined the Santa Cruz Syndicate from G-Cross Honda, Greg Minnaar, the GOAT himself is moving on to pastures new.
It certainly was rumoured but it was one of those that just didn’t seem to stick. Turns out we were wrong. Greg Minnaar will not be riding for the Santa Cruz Syndicate in 2024.
Greg would join the team in 2008 after a stint on the iconic G-Cross Honda team. He would go on to win 17 World Cups, cementing himself as the GOAT, whilst taking three World Championship titles.
Minnaar is rumoured to making the jump to Norco for 2024 but nothing has been confirmed by either party.
