Wideopenmag world cups: Mont St Anne UK Randoms from Jacob Gibbins

Mont St Anne is in full swing and Aaron Gwin and Rach Atherton are King and Queen of qualies. Here’s a handful of photo-treats from the lens of Jacob Gibbins. Enjoy!

Unior’s Harry Heath. Not had the best season so far with crashes and punctures. No stress this weekend though – Harry qualied 66th and is on for finals. Good luck Baz!

Alex Bond. An unlucky run left him off the start sheet for Sunday. Hard luck fella!

And Rich… First time racing in Canada and riding on a wave of awesome results so far this season. Looks like it wasn’t to be this weekend though with a crash in qualies and ‘do not pass go’ for Sunday. Looks like Rich tried a bit of a more balls out approach than usual and overcooked it – “back to safety first” he said on Twitter! That’s racing ain’t it mate? Green army!

I’m going to assume that is one is Dirt Norco’s Ben Reid – another rider who’s luck goes up and down like a blooming yoyo. Luckily for Ben, he’s up this weekend and scored a cracking 29th place in qualies on his chrome proto Norco.

Simmonds! Matt’s got his teeth in and is pinning this weekend – an awesome 19th place qualie for him and the CRC/Nukeproof team.

Last but not least it’s Oli Burton, who qualies in 64th place. Ollie is easily on the season of his life this year.

That’s all for now! See you Sunday for finals!
