Kye Forte – Welcome to the Wideopenmag team!

We’re stoked to announce the final addition to the 2014 Wideopenmag team – BMX legend and Devon hero Kye Forte.

“My plans for 2014 are to get top 3 results at the British Downhill Series. I also want to make some sick videos on the downhill bike and promote the Widepenmag team and show people I am serious about this mountain bike lark.

I’ll continue to ride BMX & represent my sponsors that support me. I just want to ride as much as possible and keep improving and learning, even though I am in Masters!!”

After trying his hand at downhill racing in 2013 Kye wanted to take things more seriously and hook up with a team that has plenty of experience whilst still keeping things fun. We interviewed him at the end of last year for the mag and as soon as we heard his plans we knew it was a perfect fit. Our awesome sponsors agreed and we brought him on to the team!

Kye will be racing the British Downhill Series and filming some top-quality edits on his Nukeproof Pulse and Mega this year.

To celebrate Kye joining the team we’ve put together a quick edit. Cheers to Cal Earnshaw for making it happen.

Kye – and the team – will be powered by Nukeproof, FoxMTB, Conti Tyres, Fenwicks, Camelback, RoostDH, MRP and Five Ten UK. Kye is also supported by Red Bull.
