We loveย mountain bike racing. It’s in our blood and we’ve been part of the UK grass roots downhill mountain bike race scene longer than we care to remember.
A huge part of that is the Rose Bikes British Downhill Series.
We’ll be at every round of the 2015 Rose Bikes British Downhill Series. Team Wideopenmag will be between the tape and our editorial team will be track-side covering the action with photo stories, videos and random media nuggets. Whether you’ve never been on a start list or you’re a seasoned racer, we’ll have content that will make you want to put a time in.
What is it and why should I care?
The British Downhill Series – the BDS – is the lifeblood of British downhill mountain bike racing. It pushes the UK right up to the top of the tree for downhill racing and creates a mountain of talented riders that go on to dominate the UCI mountain bike World Cup. Gee and Rachel Atherton, Manon Carpenter, Laurie Greenland, Taylor Vernon, Brendan Fairclough, Josh Bryceland, Tahnee Seagrave and many more fast, British riders cut their bars at the BDS. If you care about downhill racing … or you just love watching riders go fast then you’ll love the BDS!
Here’s a run down of the full British Downhill Series coverage we’ll be firing at you!
