Great news – Juliet Elliott just joined the Wideopenmag family!
We’ve just teamed up with rider and writer Juliet Elliott and she’ll be creating loads of great content for you guys to feast on from now on. We’ve known Juliet for a while and got talking to her when she was running Coven Magazine. She joined us for a ride at our Triscombe Local Knowledge day and we started cooking up a plan to work with her from there.
Not heard of Juliet? She’s a cyclist, rider and writer from Devon with a CV that includes time as a pro-snowboarder, a magazine editor, journo, product tester … even a cover model for Vogue! She’s spent years on bikes of all shapes and sizes and is stoked on meeting new people and riding new trails. She can shred everything from BMX, to road to dirt so is the perfect person to join the team and help tell you guys some stories.
We’ve kept the plan deliberately pretty loose. All we’ve told her is we want great quality, unique stories that focus on riding and don’t involve racing (we do enough racing stuff already!). She’ll be hunting out the best new trails, great places to ride, great people to ride with and anything and anyone that she’s inspired by. She’ll also be longterm testing a Marin Attack Trail 9 for us all year (more on that in a week or so).
Juliet’s first mission for Wideopen is this Thursday – she’s off to visit the 417Project for a guided tour!
Juliet is the first of a few new faces you’ll see on Wideopenmag. We’re teaming up with a handful of talented riders and we’ll be bringing you even more fresh, British mountain bike content from now on. Stay tuned…
