Big news from the world of World Cup downhill as one-time-Wideopener Laurie Greenland joins MS Mondraker.
Laurie spent two years with Team Wideopenmag before moving on to Trek World Racing where he scored himself World Cup overall and World Championships junior wins. After storming through the junior ranks, Laurie will move up to the big leagues with MS Mondraker. He’ll be joined by Danny Hart, Markus Pekoll and a last-minute signing Emmeline Ragot.
The team will ride Fox, Dainese, Maxxis and of course Mondraker.
And in another big bit of news – Wideopenmag team co-founder, mechanic, cook, masseuse and general do-everything dad of the team Chaz Curry will move up to MS Mondraker as Laurie’s mechanic. Chaz has been with us since day one at Team Wideopenmag and we couldn’t have done anything that we’ve done without him. We’re stoked to see him move up to the big leagues and working with Laurie again. More on him later on …
