Nukeproof have released a sneak peak of their all-new, four tier clothing range due to launch in late April/early May this year.
Adding to an already impressive offering, Nukeproof will be adding clothing to their repertoire in 2018. We take a sneak peak at the new Nirvana, Kashmir, Outlander and Blackline ranges due at the start of summer.
Outlander.
At the base of the range are the Outlander jerseys. Designed as a casual jersey for on and off the bike, yet despite the low price tag, they’re still loaded with features like a wicking, antibacterial and quick drying material, Raglan sleeves and under arm vents. The short sleeve version will retail at £40, with the long sleeves costing you a fiver more.
Blackline.
A more trail-focused, less casual offering in the Blackline adds womens’ kit and shorts to the equation. Jersey fronts are made from 100% recycled S.Cafe polyester with a mesh back with a YKK zippered pocket, and sport the same wicking, quick dry and antibacterial qualities to keep you whiff-free on the trails. Blackline jerseys are available in sizes Small to XXL, XSmall to Large for the ladies, three different colours, short and long sleeve in both womens’ and mens’.
Shorts made of a stretch fabric with DWR water resistant treatment with triple stitched inner leg hems for extra strength, have inner waist adjustable velcro tabs and silicon grip to prevent shorts slipping down. All zips are high quality YKK for the 2 front zipped security pockets and 1 back zipped security pocket.
Jerseys are £40 for short and £45 with long sleeves, all shorts are £60.
Kashmir.
The Kashmir range is the more focused, DH and enduro race-orientated range with a cut to suit the ‘attack’ position and colourways to go full stealth or full saturation depending on your approach. The longer cut jersey allows you to tuck it into the shorts for maximum aero, but still looks good if you want to let it hang out.
Jerseys sport the same features as the others, while the neck on the Kashmir jersey is looser to accommodate a neck brace.
Shorts sport similar features to the Blackline short but with a more robust construction to allow them to withstand the rigours of racing.
Jerseys are £50, shorts are £80 and both come in three colours, Small to XXL.
Nirvana.
The cream of the crop, the Nirvana range is the pick of the best materials, with a performance fit with all the features you would expect of a top-of-the-range short and jersey.
Materials for the jerseys, while sporting the same wicking, antibactieral and quick dry features, are designed to be as light as possible and give maximum airflow whilst out on the bike. Seams are bonded to keep friction to a minimum. Sleeves are made of a woven construction that increases tear resistance with the addition of Cordura elbow patches to protect the forearm in a crash.
Shorts again sport the same features as the rest of the range, but the materials used and their construction make the Nirvana short much lighter, especially compared to the Kashmir equivalent.
Jerseys are £70, shorts £90, sizing Small to XXL and in three colours.
