And your National British Downhill Series winners from Rheola are ….

We’ve had a wild weekend at Rheola, breathing dust and destroying wheels.

With most of the elite field elsewhere there was an opportunity for two fresh faces to take the top spots.

Men’s elite field

In the men’s field it looked like it would be a battle between Matt Walker, Brayton, Atwill and Breeden. Walker crashed and went home early and Brayton took the win by .9 of a second… but South African Christopher Philogene stepped in and upset a few bets.

Fourth: Douglas Vieira

Fifth: Daniel Tay

Women’s elite field

In women’s field, Katy Curd was the clear favourite for the win and didn’t let us down. She took the win by over 15 seconds.
