A flat out Andorra World Cup, on the back of Val di Sole, reminded us just why we love World Cup downhill so much.
Dry World Cups on proper tracks are the absolute business. We didn’t think it could get much better after Val di Sole but Andorra turned the wick up again. Rain made things interesting in practice but stayed away when the clock started.

Tahnee Seagrave said she likes a challenge and went about putting a serious dent in Rachel Atherton’s 12 second qualifying margin when it mattered and profited from an off course excursion by the Trek Factory Racing rider to take the win.

Loris Vergier has been knocking on the door of the World Cup top step for a while with several second place finishes and crashes while up at the split. Andorra would see him finally tame the beast and took the hot seat with a 4.5 second margin.
