Much like previous iterations of Nukeproof’s Worx series the Nukeproof Mega 290 Worx is as hard-hitting a bike as it can be. It might not be the priciest build out there, but this thing is designed to get you through the rough stuff and through it fast.
You’ll only ever see fifty of these made, and that brushed alloy finish is really quite something, especially when finished off with the red/black graphics.
For your £4499 you’ll get that brushed alloy Mega 290 frame, a 170mm Rockshox Lyric Charger 2 RC mated to a Super Deluxe Ultimate Coil. Drive is handled by a carbon Truvativ Descendant crank with the rest being SRAM’s XO1 Eagle 12-speed. DT’s excellent EX 1501 wheels are shod with the new Michelin rubber. A Rockshox Reverb and Nukeproof’s top end Horizon components round off this beast.
