To celebrate 30 years in mountain biking, Nukeproof have released a limited edition version of their Reactor 290c, the Worx.
Based around Nukeproof’s ever-popular Reactor 290c frame, but with a clear coat over carbon fibre, the Nukeproof Reactor 290c Worx is dripping with the very best components out there.

Key features:
- RockShox Pike Ultimate 140mm fork
- RockShox Super Deluxe Ultimate RCT shock
- SRAM XO1 Eagle 12 speed drive
- SRAM G2 Ultimate brakes
- DT Swiss XM1501 SPLINE 30 wheels
- Rockshox Reverb AXS dropper
- £6,499.99 RRP
- Nukeproof.com

A simple end goal lies behind the Nukeproof Reactor 290c Worx. Make the best trail bike out there. Nukeproof know fine well that their Reactor is well-regarded, so why not start off with a limited edition clear coat lacquer over bare carbon for that unique look into the UD layers?
From then on, it’s simply a case of bolting on some of the best components going. Rockshox handles the damping at both ends with a Pike Ultimate and Super Deluxe Ultimate. The rest of the running gear is SRAM-heavy too, though SRAM’s AXS shifting and dropper feature to really clean up the cockpit area.
A mix of XO1 and GX Eagle 12-speed drive handles power transfer, with G2 Ultimate brakes slowing the Reactor down. DT Swiss’ venerable XM1501 wheels are solid and light, and should run smooth forever.
Nukeproof’s own top of the line finishing kit rounds off the package.
Geomety on the Reactor 290c Worx is tweaked slightly with the spec chosen, but nothing too drastic. Head angle steepens to 66 degrees, but can be dropped to the same head angle as ‘Trail’ on any of the other non limited edition Reactors 290s. Seat tube angle is similarly so, a 75.5 angle which can be slackened to 75. Reach is slightly longer at 451mm on the medium, with the seat tube and chainstay remaining the same.
The Reactor 290c WORX is Ltd Edition and on sale from July 4th from all good Nukeproof retailers at £6499.99.
