Despite having a raft of the very best riders from around the globe, the Alexandra locals would keep them honest as the Crankworx Summer Series NZ kicks off.
Despite having the likes of Casey Brown, Katy Winton, Caroline Buchanan and a heap of fast dudes on station too, it would be Louise Ferguson and Bradley Harris who would take the win at the Alexandra Super D.
Dust and rock was in full effect in Alexandra and offered up some very different terrain to what most are used to.
Louise Ferguson would almost take a clean sweep of the stages, only losing out to Casey Brown on stage 3. Bradley Harris saw off strong rides from Matt Scoles and Dan Booker to take the lead after the three stages.
