Vitus First Tracks Release Their 2022 Rider Line Up.

The 2022 Vitus First Tracks team sees a shake up for the season but keeps some familiar faces and sponsors with a five rider roster.

Not content with running Northern Ireland’s Enduro series, the Vitus First Tracks Enduro Cup, Glyn O’Brien will once again be fronting a five-rider team to take on his own series, as well as taking on a few Enduro World Series races too.

TEAM MISSION – Ride bikes, stay stoked, win races and have the time of our lives.

It has been quite the journey since the team formed back in 2015. A work ethic born from long rides in the Irish winters has lead to winning multiple National Championship titles across several disciplines to standing on EWS podiums. Progression in all areas has always been in mind and no matter the challenge the team’s core value will always remain the same, work hard and have fun.

For 2022 we are set to go from strength to strength. The dudes at Vitus bikes have always made life easy for us with their epic range of machinery fully loaded with the right components to tackle any trail. From pinning it around our local woods to throwing it down at an EWS. All we have to do is throw a number board on and we are good to go.

Leatt/Hotlines will be providing us with riding kit and protection so at least we will look the part if things get out of shape. Rapid Racer Products mudguards will be keeping the crap out of our eyes so we can focus on the game. WTB rubber will be keeping us connected to the ground in the quest for the top step of the box. Dream set up.

The big news is we are having a bit of a shake up with the team line up. Hannah Mullin will be replacing Jack Devlin. Jacko has been with us since the start and whilst still remaining part of the Vitus family, he will be focusing on his music career. Thanks for all the good times and see you on the trails soon bud.

Hannah Mullin aka the Mullinator – Anyone that has been following Hannah knows she loves riding bikes and has the discipline it takes to achieve greater things. It has been awesome to watch her family support her dreams so let’s hope the team helps her raise the bar in 2022. As the youngest rider in the Under 21 category she is currently ranked 14th in the EWS global standings.

“I am really excited and thrilled to join and be part of Vitus First Tracks Race Division for 2022. A massive thanks to everyone at Vitus bikes for making this possible, it means so much. Can’t wait to ride, race and represent the team and be part of the Vitus family in 2022, good times ahead!”

Gary Donaldson aka Donzo – Born and bred in the Glens the softest part of this man are his teeth! 2022 will be Donzo’s 3rd year on the team. A firm favourite to podium at any race in the country and taking on some EWS in 2022 things could get spicy.

“It’s awesome to be back with the Vitus First Tracks crew again for 2022. It’s a great time to be involved in the team and super stoked with the sponsors we have on board again this year! Travelling is back on the cards so looking forward to a few trips away on the pusher. Thanks Vitus Bikes for making it all happen and keeping the wheels turning.”

Callum Morris aka Skutterbox – The wee man from Donegal with all the style! When he’s not throwing shapes on his Sommet he is going full gas on his Dominer. Full attack mode for the British Downhill Series is on the cards in 2022.

“Delighted to be back on the team for another year. Hopefully there’s a full season of racing in 2022. Looking forward to riding the Vitus Sommet, it’s been flying. Improved so much since joining the team and hope to keep learning from the team and all the riders.”

Catherine O’Brien aka Cato – The beauty and the brains! If you need 20 things done at once you have come to the right place. When she’s not organising Cato can be found shredding the trails on her Escarpe looking for the next adventure.

“2022 is looking really exciting right now. The vibes in the team are positive and we are all looking forward to making lots of new adventures together, both here in Ireland and further afield.”

Glyn O’Brien aka OB – Happy to be riding any bike as fast as possible! Keeping things moving forward and everyone stoked is high on the agenda every day.

“Stoked beyond words to have Vitus support our dream for the 8th year in a row. It’s been a wonderful journey with many challenges and I have really enjoyed every minute. Pumped for the team to be back racing and excited to have Hannah join us.”
