Latest in the line of Uncaged special edition bikes from YT Industries is the Jeffsy Uncaged 8 featuring Cane Creek dampers.
YT Industries’ all-mountain weapon, the Jeffsy, gets the Uncaged treatment with a Cane Creek Helm II fork and Kitsuma shock being the headlines of this special edition number. It also comes in a rather fetching peanut butter colour.
For anyone that doesn’t know, YT’s Jeffsy is their all-mountain, 150mm travel machine sitting above the Izzo and below the Capra in terms of travel and intended use. The Jeffsy Uncaged 8 is simply a special edition spec, so the frame remains the Ultra Modulus carbon fibre unit that’s been available for a while now.
This particular Uncaged offering sports a Cane Creek Helm II fork that can, if you want, be extended to 160mm for a bit of extra give at the front. This is paired to a Cane Creek Kitsuma Air shock out the back. The rest of the build is SRAM-heavy and AXS-heavy too, with both the GX Eagle and Reverb being wireless. G2 Ultimates provide the stopping power.
Sizing runs from Small to XXLarge, with the medium sporting a 450mm reach on a 415mm seat tube. Head angle is adjustable between 66 and 66.6 degrees, likewise the seat tube angle can go from 77 to 77.7 if that tickles your fancy. Chainstays are 435mm on a wheelbase of 1196mm.
The Jeffsy Uncaged 8 will be available mid-Spring.
