In order to give his best friend the nod he deserves, Geoff McComb is on the hunt for classic parts to rebuild a Rocky Mountain Pipeline.
Geoff McComb is out looking for some original parts to build his old pal, Jonny Black’s Rocky Mountain Pipeline for one last hurrah.
Here’s what Geoff had to say:
“My old friend Jonny Black, the guy that got me into biking and saved my life after a crash in ‘99, recently passed away.
I have his beloved 1997 Rocky Mountain Pipeline frame, photos below.
After speaking to his brother, we’d like to try to rebuild it as close as possible to how it was when Jonny owned it, then take it to our old jump spot on Cavehill, with his family and friends, in his memory.
I have zero budget, donations of parts are very welcome. The frame is small cracks and will never be ridden in anger again. No donated parts will ever be be sold on.“
