Tahnee Seagrave just won her first elite women’s World Cup at Leogang
Tahnee slotted in between Manon Carpenter and Fort William winner Tracy Hannah. She hit every split faster than Manon and Tracy couldn’t match the pace, going .6 slower across the line.
Tahnee was riding her new Transition TR11 downhill bike and came into Leogang looking to make up for a disappointing Fort William.
At the finish, Tahnee recognised that Rachel Atherton wasn’t racing today but sounded over the moon with the result:
“It means a lot to me – the circumstances aren’t as much as normal races but it means just as much. To finally get it is just a relief more than anything!”
Women’s top 3:
- Tahnee Seagrave
- Tracey Hannah
- Myriam Nicole
