The Fort William World Cup has beaten The Open, Blair Atholl Horse Trials and many more to take VisitScotland’s Scottish Thistle Award for Best Sporting Event.
The 2016 edition of the Fort William World Cup took the gong for breaking previous attendance records in its 15-year history, delivering the very best experience of mountain biking to over 20,000 spectators.
It’s great to see downhill mountain biking getting the recognition it deserves in one of the best tourist destination on the planet.
