Jill Kintner took the win in the Pumptrack Challenge at Crankworx Rotorua and jumped from third to first in the Queen of Crankworx standings in the process.
With rivals Casey Brown and Vaea Verbeeck sitting out the Pumptrack Challenge, the door was wide open for Jill Kintner to extend her lead after a record breaking win in the dual slalom the previous night.
With only the three events remaining, the title is Kintner’s to lose. She didn’t have it easy though, and despite last year’s winner Caroline Buchanan out with injury, BMX star Kialani Hines won the first heat in the Big Final by 0.06 seconds.
