Designed to tackle enduro stages that seem to get no shorter, smoother or gentle on the bike, Rockshox have released new dampers with super bump sensitivity.
New Charger 2 dampers and DebonAir air springs for Lyrik forks as well as Super Deluxe and Deluxe rear shocks are designed to tackle the ever increasing demands of the modern enduro stage.
The new DebonAir air spring is available separately and backwards compatible with all Rockshox 35mm forks, meaning you can get the best out of your Pike, Lyrik, Yari or Revelation without breaking the bank.
Lyrik RC2.
The updated Lyrik RC2 sports the new Charger 2 damper and DebonAir spring.
With both independent high and low speed compression as well as external early stroke rebound, the Charger 2 now offers more adjustability than ever, and should help you find the sweet spot to suit your riding style.
The new DebonAir air spring has been redesigned to reduce friction in each component to maximise bump absorption and response under load, which in turn reduces forces felt at the handlebar so you can ride longer.
Travel is available in 10mm increments from 150 to 180mm, and in both 27.5 and 29″ boost.
The new Lyrik RC2 will be available from April for £989.
Deluxe and Super Deluxe.
Three shocks in total get the DebonAir treatment, to better track the ground thanks to reduced breakaway forces gained by friction reduction to all parts, just like the in the Lyriks above.
Super Deluxe RC3 and RCT shocks get redesigned interiors to reduce friction further, which allows for the piston to move more freely and should lead to better tracking. Tweaked rebound damping is designed to give better big hit and cornering stability with an increased range of adjustibility.
The Deluxe RT3 gets similar internal treatment to improve tracking, as well as a redesigned bushing with increased overlap, combined with a new scraper seal designed to reduce friction.
All new Deluxe and Super Deluxe shocks will be available from April onwards. Prices start at £389 for the Deluxe RT3, £529 for the Super Deluxe RC3 and £569 for the RT3.
