The Malverns is the ultimate old school mountain bike festival… and we’re paying homage to our MTB forefathers with a proper old school event.
We’ve teamed up with mountain bike legend Jez Avery and the Malverns team to bring you the Wideopenmag Bunny Hop Challenge.
When and where?
It’ll take part on Saturday night of the event at 7PM and will be held in the centre of the MucOff pumptrack.
The Challenge is open to anyone that wants to take part. All you need is a bike, a helmet and a good bunny hop. Or a rubbish one. All are welcome.
How do I enter?
It’s free to enter and you can sign up on the day.
We’re really stoked to be teaming up with old school bunny hop legend Jez Avery for the Challenge. Jez is a 3x dual slalom National Champion and, in his day, won pretty much every bunny hop competition going.
He’s lovingly built a replica of the original competition bunny hop gate and will bring it along for us to use at the event. We’re stoked to have him on board!
