Troy Brosnan and Rachel Atherton beat some stiff competition out at Crankworx Les Gets to win on the classic downhill track.
Anyone that has spent any time watching downhill mountain biking over the last twenty years will no doubt recognise the Crankowrx Les Gets downhill track. That includes the spot where a famous northern plumber hit the deck while at at the split chasing some stripes.
Troy Brosnan took the win in the men’s ahead of Amaury Pierron and Loris Vergier, while Rachel Atherton pipped World Cup rival Myriam Nicole in second and Tracey Hannah in third.
