Proposals are in place for Hillend, Edinburgh to be the site of a new family-friendly trail centre linking the city to the Pentland Hills beyond.
Ten and a half kilometres of new trails will make up the main attraction for a new trail centre between Scotland’s capital and the Pentland Hills that lie to its south.
Everything from green to red routes are being considered, but with the focus on family-friendliness.
The project builds on a 2014 feasibility study from 2014 with a public consultation taking place on Tuesday 5 March 2019 at Swanston Golf Clubhouse, 111 Swanston Road, Edinburgh, EH10 7DS, between 14.00 and 19.00 where feedback and comments are invited.
