And Your Junior Womens’ Fort William World Cup Winner Is…

Anna Newkirk has taken a four second win ahead of Junior World Champion Vali Holl as the Austrian has issues after split two.

American young gun Anna Newkirk has taken the Fort William World Cup win with a time of 5:33.585, profiting from some issues after split two from World Cup Series and World Champion Vali Holl.

Holl was up at the first two splits, then down by three seconds at the next two, crossing the line 3.489 down on Newkirk. Atheron Bikes’ Mille Johnset came in third, nine and a half seconds back on the American.

Vali Holl still holds onto the leaders’ jersey going into Leogang, but her lead has been clipped before she heads to home turf.
