A year after the carbon model came out, the YT Jeffsy Base is its alloy-framed brother than comes in under two grand.
After the carbon YT Jeffsy got the longer, lower, slacker treatment, the German direct sales brand have announced that they have given the YT Jeffsy Base the same treatment.
Crucially though, the Jeffsy Base comes in at a penny under two grand, making it an awful lot of bike for not an awful lot of dollar.

On the big wheels, this changes to a 66/66.5 degree head angle and a 77/77.5 degree seat tube angle. Reach grows to 450mm while the seat tube remains unchanged at 415mm.
Fork travel grows on both models by 10mm, with 160mm on the 27.5 and 150mm on the 29″ model, courtesy of a Rockshox Yari RC.
All linkage hardware is now single-sided, while the double-sealed bearings have an additional seal protecting them for extended service life.
