The Merida EX Enduro 2020 Has Been Cancelled.

Sad times as one of the best multi-day events in the UK, The Merida EX Enduro has been cancelled with all eyes now on the 2021 event.

Due to take place mid-September, the organisers were hopeful that The Merida EX Enduro would go ahead but the feeling is that the safety of riders, staff and sponsors cannot be guaranteed, they have taken the decision to cancel the 2020 event.

As you are all aware we are living in unprecedented times, we were hoping that by the time our ‘end of summer event’ took place the current pandemic would be more under control. However, sadly we have to make the unwanted decision to cancel our 2020 event and move it along a year.

The main reason for our decision is that despite working on a long list of precautions over the last few months we simply can’t guarantee the safety of the riders, our staff and our sponsors.

Besides that, THE MERIDA EX is based on close social interaction, camaraderie, spending time with like-minded people (on and off the bike) and an extensive list of features, like our vintage tea stop, endure dinner party, up-lift etc. which we simply can’t run at the level and in the style which our event is known for.

We were super excited about this year’s event and had lots of new trails, new features and some exciting new partners at the ready, but we are forced to hold on to them for a year and share them with you in September 2021. The provisional date for 2021 is 10-12th of September 2021.

We have sent emails to all THE EX riders already to offer them the chance to move their entry to the 2021 event or get a full refund. If you have not received anything, please check your spam filter and get in touch with us on

We are so sorry that we had to make this decision and are looking forward to a fantastic THE MERIDA EX 2021.

Ride safe. Stay healthy.

Paul and Michael
