Cannondale’s new Dave hardtail is the N+1 bike we’d all like to have but probably can’t justify and keeps the 26″ wheel flame alight.
Whether it’s jump lines, street jibs, skatepark flow, or pump-track laps, Cannondale’s new Dave is, like its namesake, keen for it.

The Cannondale Dave hails to the glory days when everyone had a hardtail for mucking about on, a trend that seems to be coming back strong. The extra long brake cable for barspins really shows the intent of this bike, but it looks good for pretty much anything you’re going to point it at.
Spec-wise, it’s all pretty functional. Bolted to a C3 alloy frame is a 100mm Manitou Circus fork to take the edge off the landings, Cannondale’s own finishing kit and Fabric saddle deal with the contact points, rolling on Formula hubs paired to alloy 32h rims shod with Maxxis DTH tyres, a Tektro mechanical rear disc handles the anchors and that is pretty much it. Simple, yet effective.
Available in one size only, you get a 436mm reach, a suitably clipped 334mm seat tube, a 68.5 degree head tube angle and a teeny 378mm chainstay. This bike is designed to play.
