Nukeproof Add Top Spec RS Megawatt to The Range.

Nukeproof’s ever popular Megawatt ebike models gets a refresh in spec and the range gains a model with the top spec RS.

No change needed for the Megawatt frame this time around so Nukeproof have given the range current spec and added the Nukeproof-SRAM team-friendly RS model to the line up.

This time last year, Nukeproof launched their much-anticipated ebike, the Megawatt. For 2022, the range simply gets updated specs as well as the range-topping RS spec that is largely dictated by the Nukeproof-SRAM team.

Other than the spec being heavily team-influenced, the major change is an extra 10mm travel on the fork over the rest of the range at 180mm travel.

The heart of the MegaWatt is the custom butted and hydroformed 6061-T6 alloy frame that houses the Shimano battery within the downtube and a Shimano EP8 motor across the sizes. That motor is housed in a one piece cast motor housing. Battery capacity depends on model chosen, with the Factory and Elite coming with a 630Wh battery, the Comp with a 504Wh unit.
