Off the back of the success with their mixed-wheel Tracer 279, Intense have given the enduro sled the wagon wheel treatment.
Borrowing from their M29-derived suspension platform, Intense’s Tracer gets the full 29″ treatment for those big days in the mountains and going between the tape at the enduros.

Launched early 2022 off the back of the three years of testing with some serious input from rapid riders like Isabeau Cordurier, the Tracer 279 from Intense was the latest in their enduro offering. The full 170mm travel offered up by an M29 downhill bike derived lower link-driven VPP system, housed within a monocoque carbon fibre frame complete with carbon fibre top link and Ti hardware. You also get the CHAD frame storage.
The Tracer 29 shares almost everything bar the rear wheel size and some minor geometry changes, but is essentially the big-wheeled brother to the 279 launched earlier in the year.
Two bikes and a frameset are available, the Tracer 29 Pro and Tracer 29 Expert are £5,799.00 and £4,999.00 respectively. The frameset comes with a Fox Factory Float X2 shock at £2,999.00.

Geometry
The Intense Tracer 29 is available in three sizes; M, L and XL. All frames come with a Hi and Lo flipchip.
Reach on the Medium is 455mm with a seat tube of 418mm. Head tube angle in ‘Lo’ is 63.7 degrees with an effective seat tube angle of 77 degrees. Chainstays are 447mm with a wheelbase of 1238mm.
