British Cycling have reported, and responded to, the government’s recent culling of a large portion of their Active Travel budget.
According to British Cycling, the English Active Travel budget has taken a hit of £200 million. All Party Cycling has reported that the cuts could reach as high as £380 million.
Whatever the actual number, it’s pretty obvious that there is a sizeable chunk of money now not going towards Active Travel in England.
