Made in the US from US-made 7075 aluminium in Asheville, the iRiX headset from Industry Nine aims to provide easy servicing at the end of long bearing life. A split crown race and top cover compression rings give a claimed tool-free installation and removal.
These top covers come in two heights (5 and 15mm) to allow fine tuning of your stack height. On top of this, they come with an integrated shim stack function for headtube clearance when running one of the Zero Stack options.
Both ends of the headset have removeable and replaceable silicone lip seals aimed at keeping the 440C stainless bearings running smooth. These bearings come with a lifetime warranty.
The iRiX headset is available in eleven anodised colours which you can tune up with one solid colour or mix it up to suit. The same goes with the options to mix up top and bottom cups.
