YT Industries Release Their Capra Core 5.

Latest in their ever rolling series of spec updates, YT Industries release their top spec Core offering for their enduro weapon, the Capra Core 5.

As usual, the YT Industries Capra Core 5 offers up some serious bang for your buck and some serious riding performance in either MX or 29er flavour.

Key features:

  • Öhlins RXF38 m.2 170mm fork
  • Öhlins TTX22 m.2 coil shock
  • SRAM XO AXS Eagle T-type 12-speed drive
  • SRAM Code RSC brakes
  • CRANKBROTHERS Synthesis Enduro 3 Alloy rims on I9 1/1 hubs
  • YT Postman dropper
  • £5,999.00 RRP
  • UK.YT-Industries.com

Leading out the YT Industries Capra Core offering is a new beast, the Core 5. Based around the current 170mm travel Ultra Modulus carbon fibre frame, the Core 5 is more about what’s attached to it.

Öhlins dampers handle that travel, with an RXF38 m.2 fork out front with 170mm travel, and a TTX22 m.2 coil unit out back. SRAM’s XO AXS Eagle T-type 12-speed drive deals with the gears and you’ll be brought back under control by a set of SRAM Code RSC anchors. Crankbrothers Synthesis Enduro 3 Alloy rims are paired to I9 1/1 hubs. DoubleDown Maxxis casing rubber shows the bike’s real intentions too. A Renthal cockpit, SDG saddle and YT dropper complete the package.

Geometry

The Capra Core 5 is available in Small, Medium, Large, XLarge and XXLarge.

Reach on the Medium is 444mm with a seat tube of 420mm. Head angle with the flip chip in Low is 64 degrees with a seat tube of 77.5 degrees. Chainstays on the Medium are 433mm with a wheelbase of 1223mm.
