Ronan Dunne would take a clean sweep of the 2024 Red Bull Hardline events as he backed up his win in Tasmania by doing the double in Wales.
Adam Brayton set the marker as the first man down the hill and would put in a time only two seconds shy of Ronan Dunne’s qualifier. We’d have to wait for the top 10 before Matteo Iniguez pipped him. Hatton, Velez and Kerr would unseat the previous man before the last man down.
Ronan Dunne started as he meant to go on, holding a second and a half lead from top to bottom in a clinical display from the young Irishman. He’d pip Kerr to second by 1.6 seconds, with Colombian urban DH main man Juanfer Velez in third.
