Goodyear Release Their Latest Rubber, the Wrangler.

Spotted under some fast Antipodean riders at the opening World Cup of the year, the Goodyear Wrangler is now out in the open.

Goodyear expand their gravity range with the addition of the Wrangler, a tyre aimed at dry, rocky conditions in both enduro and ebike flavours.

Goodyear’s Wrangler has landed and is their first tyre to offer their ElectricDrive models that are specifically designed for the rigours of ebike riding. These are aimed at complimenting their Enduro casing offerings, whose intended use probably don’t need to be explained.

Inspired by their popular motocross tyres, the Wrangler is aimed at aggressive enduro and ebike use in dry, rocky and mixed conditions. Alongside the Enduro and ElectricDrive casings, you also get MTF and MTR variants for, you guessed it, front and rear applications. The front aimed at grip and steering performance, whilst the rear focuses on drive and rolling speed.

Compared to the Enduro casing, the ElectricDrive features more support and protection in the casing with the butyl insert extended higher up the sidewall. All tyres feature a compound developed in collaboration with Rubber Kinetics, front tyres have a grippier Dynamic:Grip3S compound, whilst the rears a faster rolling use the Dynamic:Grip3.
