Subtle tweaks to the frame and an a new beating heart make one of the best full power ebikes, the Orbea Wild, that bit better.
The Orbea Wild was already pretty good, but it gets more travel, a slacker head angle, a new motor and more battery options in its 2025 update.
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it is the thinking behind the latest edition of the Orbea Wild. With a very similar silhouette, the new Wild comes with plenty of changes that should lead to an even better ride experience.
Head angle drops half a degree to 63.5 degrees and travel jumps to 170mm to make it that better a descender. For everywhere else, power comes from the new Bosch Performance CX drive unit, sporting more sensors for better application of the motor’s 85Nm. For those looking for a lighter, shorter range Wild, there is a new 600Wh battery option on the bike builder.
Added to the range is an option for Mullet wheels with a different link that keeps the same kinematic and geometry as the full 29″ version and can be specced when ordering. Also, the range grows with the usual M series carbon bikes, H series alloy bikes, as well as the alloy-only Wild ST which offers the same powertrain but with 150mm front and rear.
Four M series carbon fibre bikes, two H series alloy bikes and two H series Wild ST models will be available. The Wild ST H30 kicks off the range at £5,099.00, with the range topping out with the Wild M-Ltd at £11,299.00.
Geometry
The Orbea Wild is available in S, M, L and XL.
Reach on the Wild in M is 455mm with a seat tube length of 415mm. Head angle is 63.5 degrees with a seat tube angle of 77.5 degrees. Chainstays are 448mm across the sizes with the wheelbase on the M of 1252.2mm.
