Trek Factory Racing have announced that Loris Vergier, Reece Wilson, Hattie Harnden, Jolanda Nef and Anton Cooper and co. will not race for them in 2025.
Only Evie Richards, Sacha Earnest appears to have not been announced to be leaving Trek Factory Racing’s three discipline-specific race teams at the end of this year… Trek have certainly battled the post-COVID slump but will be shipping a massive quantity of talent at the end of 2024.
Not only do they lose the current Elite Men’s UCI Downhill World Champion in Loris Vergier and the UCI Enduro World Cup Champion in Hattie Harnden, they’ll also be saying goodbye to former World Champs Reece Wilson and Anton Cooper, former Olympic champ Jolanda Nef, plus Emily Carrick-Anderson and Bodhi Kuhn. Whilst there’s rumours that Vergier is off to Commencal/Muc-Off and Wilson to Gamux, it’s still not a good sign of where the cycle industry is just now…
