Our Pick of the Best From The Les Gets World Cup Pit Bits.

It’s very wet in Les Gets today but we’ve been out hunting down the cool and unusual bits on display here at the World Cup.

Here’s our pick of the best stuff on show at the 2025 Les Gets World Cup.

Fox

In the safe hands of Jules MacLean, were Tahnee Seagrave’s Fox RAD 40 prototype forks. There’s very few of these around with only maybe Jackson Goldstone rocking a set too.

Visually there’s little to separate them from a standard set of Fox 40s. The fork brace is a little different on the RAD forks and yes, the stanchions are black rather than Kashima. What’s inside is a mystery. Whether it’s all-new tech is anyone’s guess. Jordi and co. were remaining tight-lipped on that front.

Scott

The new Scott Gambler launched yesterday with 210mm travel available via a 6-bar link. The shock is housed within that oversized section ahead of the bottom bracket, aiming to keep the weight low for better tracking and stability. The carbon layup of the frame has also been tuned for the demands of modern downhill.

The BB is adjustable by 16mm, the headset comes with +/-6mm headset cups, chainstay adjustment, progression adjustment and can be run as either a full 29er or as a Mullet.

Saracen Bike Sale Leader April 25

Benoit Coulanges and co. will be racing the new Gambler this weekend but we caught Andrew Neethling with his custom build Gambler, that also sported some prototype Kenda Hellkat Pro tyres.

Specialized

SuperBruni will look to take the win on home turf this weekend and he’s got a new bike to do it on. His Demo now sports the S-Works livery, so could a production bike be just around the corner?

The Specialized Gravity Team have had prototype downhill bikes for a while, and indeed it looks like both Finn and Jordan will continue to race there’s. Loic’s bike looks like the finished article though. No more lugged frames, this is the real deal.

Hope

Not only did they have a prototype trail bike on their stand, Hope also had a few other interesting bits on show too. As a sponsor of the MS-Zerode team, Hope have been putting their expertise into helping the team bikes run better. This includes both kit to help the belt drive run a little smoother to a prototype dual crown… well… crown. Seen here in the classic red anodised finish.

Also, big thanks to both Sam (x2) for getting the new Hope EVO GR4 brakes fitted to his long term test Saracen Ariel. As the rain slapped off the artificial turf in the pits, the Sams set about getting the new Hope gravity anchors on the bike, perfect for a bit more Alpine action next week.

Our trip to Les Gets was powered by Chalets1066.
