First look: Unior tools

Unior are a Slovenian company (since 1919!) who specialise in producing tools of all kinds, even our humble mountain bike world. They even produce engine components for the likes of BMW and VW/Audi so they should be well practised in metalworking by now.

First impressions were good – the tools are solid, good quality and no monkey metal in sight. They have a very industrial feel which is no bad thing and there are a few neat little touches such as the spring on the chain whip and the plastic rubberised handles are easy in the hand and can be gripped well even with oily palms.
