We’re counting down to Christmas with 12 of our favourite UK pro riders.
Does Manon like sprouts? Does Ratboy love a roast? Does Peaty get presents? Tune in to find out!
For Christmas day … it’s Tracy Moseley.
Our Christmas day special is the legendary Tracy Moseley – a true racing icon. Tracy has dominated downhill and enduro, she’s a true professional and a rider that has continued to charge hard since the early days of MTB racing as we know it.
2015 is almost at an end. Was it a good year for you?
Amazing! To win 6 out of 7 EWS races was crazy. I’m really happy.
With the off-season in full effect, have you been relaxing or smashing out the intervals?
I’d like to say I have been relaxing but I only got home from Europe at the end of October and when you have only been home for 6 weeks since Feb, there is a lot of stuff to catch up with at home and plan for next year ! No intervals but life feels like a constant interval at the moment!
Favourite ride/race from this season and why?
Transprovence for an amazing week of weather, great trails and good times with a good group of people. Also Spain Enduro World Series. There are fun tracks and really good organistion and spectators.
Worst race/ride and why?
EWS in Colorado – there was the sad death of a competitor and I was suffering at altitude.
And what was the last ride/race where you finished running on fumes?
The EWS in Colorado. I had never felt so bad, lets say altitude and me don’t mix well!
What are your 3 top tunes of your year?
I’m pretty rubbish with music so it would just be anything I have sung along to on one of my hours alone in the campervan!
What are you most looking forward to in 2016?
More fun times and adventures with my bike and friends.
What’s on your Christmas list?
I haven’t had chance to think of anything yet !!
Will you be eating sprouts with your Christmas dinner?
Of course, I like sprouts!
What will your New Year’s Resolution be?
To try and chill out a bit and keep a weekend free every month for James’s my fiancé!
What’s your number one stand out moment from this year?
Filming in Verbier in October in fresh snow. That was a pretty special moment, high in the mountains with an incredible view.
Name one rider to keep a keen eye on for 2016.
