The good chaps over at Saddleback, whilst being a base for Intense Factory Racing, had some bikes on show for the first time in the UK.
Both the entry-level carbon M16c and the full Spider 275c range haven’t been seen before in the UK, so we went to take a look.
We take a look at the base model of Intense’s new M16c downhill bike and the Spider 275c range.
Head over to the Saddleback stand and get your raffle ticket before 16.30 today for your chance to win an M16c frame and some ENVE goodies.
M16c Expert £4,999.99.
Sporting a slightly lower spec carbon weave compared to the World Cup-proven model, the M16c Expert brings the Intense signature style in a slightly more wallet-friendly price. Full Fox Performance handling the damping duties with Shimano Zee throughout. Certainly not a cheap bike, but you’ll not see too many of these about.
Spider 275c.
Shot here is the Spider 275c Expert, one up from the base model ‘Foundation’ Spider. This is what happens when you cull your factory racing programme to develop carbon, some very tidy-looking bikes indeed. No corners cut here, even on the base models, there’s full aftermarket kit on these bikes. No cheap cassettes or branded rims on ‘no name’ hubs. If you’re after a rapid trail bike, this Spider 275c range might be high on the list.
