Great news – Danny Hart is taking ownership of northern uplift venue, Descend Hamsterley.
The park is now going to be known as Danny Hart’s Descend Bike Park.
After the season of his life – including the big World Champs win – Danny Hart is clearly looking to the future. He’s taken on ownership of Descend Hamsterley and will “breathe new life into the facilities and continue the development of future riders in the North East of England.”
Danny will use the Danny Hart’s Descend Hamsterley venue to train, to run coaching for riders, there will be bike rental and they’ll announce an official launch shortly. Fingers crossed there will also be new trails, fresh life into the uplifts and more features for us to enjoy.
Quite what Danny’s involvement in the business will be isn’t 100% clear but it’s good to see that the traditional Descend Hamsterley team – Craig Hunter and crew – will stay front and centre in the business.
Reading between the lines of the offical PR Danny hasn’t just put his name to the park, he’s put his money into it too. It states “with Danny Hart’s investment they are looking to take the park to new heights”.
