2016 is almost at an end. Was it a good year for you?

Was so much fun! Had my best season to date results-wise!

With off-season in full effect, have you been relaxing or smashing out the intervals?

It’s a cool time of year no doubt, I just like to do as many activities as possible! Got a stand up jet ski at the end of summer which has to be one of the best toys I’ve ever bought.

Favourite ride/race from this season and why?

Whistler is hard to beat, and we had fun there during Crankworx mid-season.

Worst race/ride and why?

Lenzerheide has been a tough one for me… I like the track and get on with it well but seem to have the worst luck there! Last year dislocating my shoulder then racing, this year slicing my knee open getting stitches, then getting a puncture in my quali run and race. Out for redemption next year for sure!

What was the last ride/race where you finished running on fumes?

A local cyclocross race 2 weeks ago.

3 top tunes of your year?

What are you most looking forward to in 2017?

Racing without a doubt, can’t wait to get stuck into 2017 and get after my goals!

What’s on your Christmas list?

Pfft, long are the days of Christmas lists, just saving as much as I can got some pretty cool plans to build my first home.

Will you be eating sprouts with your Christmas dinner?

Of course and all the trimmings!

What will your New Year’s Resolution be?

To give up mini muffins when staying at Roost DH. Many a man has failed!

What’s your number one stand out moment from this year?

National Champs was cool, just one of those perfect weekends.

Name one rider to keep a keen eye on for 2017.

Henry Kerr.
