Time is closing fast for entries to the Aberfeldy round of the 2017 Scottish Downhill Association. A race-only venue with all the steep and rough you’d expect.
Entries are currently wavering just below the break-even mark for this iconic former Scottish Champs track and for the first time in the SDA’s history, there’s a distinct possibility that the round might have to be cancelled.
The track is a Peter Pollock masterpiece that is currently being updated by the team that brought you the refreshed Glencoe Mountain Resort Black Run.
The news comes the same week as Uplift Scotland announce they’re closing their doors – boding further bad news for Scottish Downhill Racing.
For a volunteer-run race organisation this doesn’t bode well, but you can change all that.
