Danny Hart was well on-pace for fastest qualification time at last weekend’s British National Championships. He was 2 seconds up on his nearest rival (Charlie Hatton) at the first split and just had to get down the hill to take the top spot.
Sadly for Danny, he crossed the bottom fire road and got swallowed by a deep, gnarly hole in the bottom woods. Danny took a gnarly over the bars and ended up on the floor and off the bike.
The crash put him from first down to 27th … which he was able to chop down to 14th with an insanely fast bottom section. He finished his seeding run sore but walked it off and was able to race again later that day.
I don’t know about you, but to me that’s impressive speed on a pushbike.
