Time is closing fast for entries to the Dunkeld round of the Scottish Downhill Association, this year’s Scottish Downhill Championships.
Entries are currently wavering just below the break-even mark for this iconic Scottish Champs track and for the first time in the SDA’s history, there’s a possibility that the Champs might have to be cancelled.
The track is a true Peter Pollock masterpiece, one that frightens even the hardiest of seasoned racers for its steepness, roughness and general unforgiving nature.
The news comes the same week as Uplift Scotland announce they’re closing their doors – boding further bad news for Scottish Downhill Racing.
For a volunteer-run race organisation this doesn’t bode well, but you can change all that.
