British Cycling invites tenders for 2018 British National Downhill Series

British Cycling have invited event organisers to tender to run events in the 2018 British National Downhill Series.

2017 is the final year for the ‘British Downhill Series’ – Si Paton’s national downhill series.

With the British Downhill Series gone, British Cycling are looking for event organisers to come forward and take on the running of a new national downhill series.

Rather than giving the organisation of the whole series to one organiser, British Cycling are inviting organisers to host one or more events each. The plan is for several organisers to host their own events, working together to make up a National Series.

Organisers wishing to host events can now complete an application process via British Cycling, with the deadline for applications set as the 6th October 2017.
