As of January 2nd 2018, Coed Trallwm’s trails and car park will be closed to the public, citing dwindling numbers and lack of funding.
Coed Trallwm was Wales’ second mountain bike-specific trail centre, and the first private in the private sector, with the trails designed to boost income from forestry and holiday lets.
Sadly, lack of funding for trail maintenance, falling numbers and the cost of converting pay-and-display machines to accept the new ÂŁ1 coin have left them unable to compete with the Forestry Commission trail centres in Wales.
