The race schedule addresses some of the grumbles of the previous series without changing things too significantly.

Racing will take place over two days with seeding and racing spread over Saturday and Sunday. There won’t be any official practice on Friday.

  • Saturday AM – Sign on from 08:00, open practice 09:00 – 15:30
  • Saturday PM – Seeding from 15:30
  • Sunday AM – Racing from 09:00

How to enter the series

Entries for individual rounds of the 2018 UK Gravity Enduro Series will go live at 9am on January 27th 2018 over at MoreDirt.

Entry will be £73.50 per event. If you enter the full series in one go, it’ll cost you £70 per event with just one £1.50 entry fee.

You can enter the full series already over on More Dirt.

What do you need?

The UK Gravity Enduro Series rules now confirm that you need a full face helmet to race the series.

Personal accident insurance isn’t compulsory as it had been in the past but, the team say, “is highly recommended”.

The rules are listed in full over on the UK Gravity Enduro Series website rules page and are as you’d expect. The rules say that “all stages have to be done on the same bike and same chassis, suspension forks, rear shock, wheels and cockpit must be used for all stages and seeding”.

Ebikes won’t have a category at the series and can’t be used for racing of practice. Steve has told us that “eBikes have their own place in MTB, just not at the UK Gravity Enduro Series”.

Sponsors and prizes

The headline sponsor is still to be confirmed but the UK Gravity Enduro Series has already nailed down some great support. Pedal Addiction, Stans No Tubes, Sixth Element, Alpine Stars, NS Bikes, Rapid Racer Products, Fenwicks and Vee Tire Co are all already on board.

We’ll keep the updates rolling from the series.
